Brew
Imbibe new ‘ten ounce’ works concocted by the Tasdance Ensemble and Artistic Director at 6 locations around Tasmania.
Conceived and developed by Tasdance company dancers, Brew strips back contemporary dance to its core. This one-hour program of short works is an informal presentation that strips back contemporary dance to its innovative and explosively physical core. Over 4 weeks, the dancers from the company’s diverse ensemble are given freedom to concoct and ‘brew’, their own mad inventions, culminating in a series of intimate pieces for casual spaces.
Audiences will be invited to participate in an intimate sharing of these pieces, which represent partially formed contemporary dance works, with great future potential. Brew will take this intimate experience to a number of informal venues around the State.
Brew Statewide Touring and Schools performances
Brew will be touring throughout Tasmania in early March, to schools and intimate locations around Tasmania.
