Trish Wood graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance). She was selected to be part of the graduate company, LINK Dance Company under the direction of Michael Whaites. The company engaged in an overseas tour, performing in Prague as part of the Prague Dance Festival and in Yekaterinburg, Russia as part of the Small World Festival.
In 2007, Trish received a grant to participate in the impulstanz Festival in Vienna. Trish then worked with Clare Dyson on her new work Being There, which premiered in Berlin at the Tanzfabrik Festival and in Brisbane. Last year Trish worked with choreographers Sol Ulbrich, Juliet Shelley, Andrew Marcus and joined Tasdance for One for Sorrow, Two for Joy regional tour.
