"It is a piece of changing moods but always a broad sweep and flow of movement, and continued references to an extraordinary leather-bound eroticism. The wiry agility and muscular grace of David O'Neile and Jonathan Rees-Osborne and the dramatic elegance of Annie Greig, Catherine Freeman and Cassie Carlos make it an event not easily forgotten."

Conceived and directed by internationally acclaimed visual artist Garry Greenwood, Skin Deep utilised not only his extraordinary leather sculptures, costume pieces and set design, but also the wonderfully inventive choreographic work of Fiona Reilly, TasDance's Rehearsal Director.
Skin Deep was the realisation of a long held desire by both Greenwood and TasDance Artistic Director Annie Greig to present a collaborative dance theatre performance drawing from the talent existing within the Tasmanian arts community.
The exciting and challenging project stretches the boundaries of all involved; from the dancers working to bring to life Greenwood's costume pieces, to the excitement of seeing both Artistic Director and Choreographer performing as an integral part of the show.
