Hip Hop / Street Jam Funk Dance Teacher
Haylie has spent the last eight years dancing out her passion here in Tassie! Contemporary technique was her main style until she 'found' her true love to be Hip-Hop! Haylie's recent touring has taken her into different Aboriginal communities around the East Kimberley's in WA with IHHP (Indigenous Hip-Hop Projects - a Melbourne based company) as well as to Cape York in QLD.
Haylie currently performs with All4one - a hip-hop based dance crew who enjoy doing gigs and presenting workshops all around the state. She has also performed in Launceston College productions '07-'09 and returned to the college in 2010 for an assistant teaching engagement.
Alongside her diverse range of interests, dance has been a very important choice in Haylie's life, creating many opportunities for participation and contribution within a wide cross section of both charity and community events.
Above all, working with young people - nurturing and encouraging their self expression through dance is one of Haylie's greatest passions... the 'real buzz' as she puts it, of seeing her students develop and succeed is hard to top!
